At The Shire, there is no such things as a Wedding Day or Functions Package. We offer the facilities, resources and capability to deliver a day to your own, individual specification. Through experience, we have plenty of ideas and suggestions to make.

The Shire can accomodate 150 guests at table or 200 for a buffet function in a delightful, self-contained Suite with its own bar and entrance. For weddings The Shire has a licence to hold your Marriage Ceremony in a private room which can accommodate up to 80 of your family and friends.

There are beautiful views across the splendid Seve Master Golf Course, an ideal backdrop for your photographs and a superb location for outdoor refreshments.

The Shire holds a Civil Wedding Licence, enabling your Wedding Ceremony to be in the same location as your Reception. It's a great convenience for you and your guests, with ample car parking space to make transport easy.

We will explain how the Ceremony should be arranged, the conditions that apply and the fees that the Registrar will charge. We will also supply you with contact details of the Registrar so that you can confirm availability and book an appropriate time.
